While I was working 15 hour days, Grandma Jean was a trooper hanging with the little girls. The hotel was attached to the convention center and allowed me to run over and nurse the baby (who is very stubborn and no bottle is acceptable) when I was able to take breaks.

Keeping Avery entertained wasn't as hard as you might think. She was happy to ride the escalator. Repeatedly.

And, we were lucky enough to get to visit with my cousin Beth and her friend Amanda who have recently moved to the Windy City.
