We took a little side trip to Reno. An attempt to go find something warm - and something open. The Tahoe area is really shut down this year. Lots of "Closed for the season" signs. Including Ben and Jerry's. That one puzzles me, because if late June isn't Ice Cream Season, I am not sure what is. Even all river activities are closed. The river is considered too low for safe rafting.
Anyway, back to Reno. We found a fun park geared toward young children. The San Rafael Park.
Highlights included:
The Misting Dinosaur Playground.

The Old Fashioned Flume Ride.

A regular old playground.

The Petting Zoo.

Panning for Gold.

And, Pony Rides.
