Triskaidekaphobia

Today is Friday the Thirteenth. One of three this year--something that only happens about once every eleven years. And it has such fun vocabulary.

I am so glad that I do not suffer from Paraskavedekatriaphobia [Fear of Friday the Thirteenth] or Friggatriskaidekaphobia [A morbid, irrational fear of Friday the Thirteenth--a subtle difference.] Or even more generally, Triskaidekaphobia [Fear of the number thirteen.]

Trivia Aside: President Franklin D. Roosevelt would not travel on the thirteenth day of any month and would never host thirteen guests at a meal.

I might not be able to relate to these fears, BUT, let's look at Ablutophobia [the Fear of Cleaning.] Now that's one that I can understand.

And if you can't--I have a few projects that could use your help.

Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.
