Our day started out in a real rush. Last night we had severe weather that knocked out our power. Which equaled alarms not going off. We had everyone up, dressed, fed and out the door in 15 minutes (Partially thanks to good planning last night when I had filled out all the forms, packed all the bags, and had the girls put together their outfits for the day--socks and all.) On the plus side, no one had time to be nervous! I was startled to come down stairs and see my brother in law roaming the front yard. He wanted to be part of the action and ran here this morning.

Ellis will be home at noon and hopefully she will tell me all about her first day! (Chase has never told me anything about school, so I am hoping that Ellis will be the chatty one.)
