Who's Counting?

I am.

Yet another night of no sleep. Working on 3 weeks of numb hands. Which are now giving me a feeling like shocks (not the static electricity feeling ones, the changing out an outlet ones... if you've ever experienced that... more of a long buzzing feeling) running up my arms. Sleep is nearly impossible. I fall asleep only to wake up and realize that it has been 25-45 minutes. Then wander the house, read books, watch TV and then try again for another few minutes of sleep.

My cold is nearly gone. That's a plus. There is a good chance I won't have to be quarantined at the hospital the way I was with Avery (I had a severe sinus infection and cough). But the girls runny noses have started up again. Hoping that they have what I have had and this isn't a second virus hitting the house.

Update from the Doctors office: I was negative for Strep B (was positive with the other three) so I won't have to get antibiotics. This is good. They had to stall all of my labors for this in the past, since I have some antibiotic allergies and the one that they need to use takes 4-6 hours of IV drip. I am holding steady at 1 cm, but did move from 0% to 50% effaced. I guess that something. Not much considering, but something. And it was decided today that should nothing else happen to get things rolling, we will deliver this baby August 29th. The day I will officially be 39 weeks and she can legally induce me.

10 more nights might come close to breaking me... so I hoping for less, but at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel. And as long as 10 days sounds to me at 2:25 am, it really isn't that far away.
