Extra Laundry

Laundry is my dreaded nemesis. I cannot control it. It overflows and overwhelms my life.

Lately I've had to deal with a lot more. Thanks to Ellis. And wet beds. She has been potty trained for over a year. But night dryness is really touch and go. She has refused to wear anything, like a pull-up, to bed at night. So for many moons, I have snuck in at night and saddled her up for the night. Thus saving me a lot of additional laundry.

But lately I have been awakened in the middle of the night, or early morning, to wet beds. My little stinker wakes up, disrobes [no cloths can hold this girl] and goes back to sleep. Then at some point, wets the bed.

Last night I tried to have a talk with her about it. [I know that reasoning with a two year old is futile. Sheer craziness.] I asked her why she was taking the pull-ups off in the middle of the night.

She answered me frankly.

"Cats don't wear pull-ups."

Don't think I can argue with that.
