E: [Screeching loudly] "NO! I am going to be the baby's big sister."
Mom: "Girls, you will BOTH be big sisters."
C and E together [they CAN show a unified front]: "NO! You are wrong!"

If they really want to get worked up, they might add some pushing or hair pulling.
