Ellis' fever broke and she came out of her pukiness after a late long nap on Wednesday. Chase had only complained of a little nausea and a headache and I thought that we had seen the last of it.
But on Friday, Chase was being a beast. The girl can get cranky, but she was taking things to a new level. I should have known.
Saturday morning I woke up to Chase throwing up and she had a fever of 103.5. Needless to say it was a long, long day. But she felt so ill that she spent the day sleeping or curled up over the air conditioning vent.
And here we are on Sunday morning. Her stomach seems to be settled today, her temperature is normal--as long as she is taking Motrin, but she is complaining of a sore throat [It doesn't look like Strep, but I wonder if all the throwing up could be part of it.] and feels good enough to be cranky again. Very cranky.
If the throat is still an issue tomorrow, we'll be heading into the doctor. But for now, I am tapping deep for patience. And hoping that she feels a lot better. SOON. As in NOW.
