Race Side Note

Our post race day afternoon was spent in the urgent care with Mark. Overnight his knee had tripled in size and he had a severely black and swollen toe.

The toe is broken. Best we can figure is that it happened when he tripped, fell and gashed his knee. The knee is not broken. He has a case of cellulitis [infection] and is now on two weeks of high-power antibiotics. Taking no chances, since his fall was on a horse trail.

Amazing that he was able to run so fast under those circumstances! Makes the Silver and Gold look just a bit shinier.
