Our New Addition

She's here! She's perfect! And we are so blessed!

So far she seems to be a mellow and quiet baby. I think she may be trying to make up for all the pain and suffering of the last few weeks. Not sure what the record is for longest labor, but I think that I was pretty close.

But I am ready to set that all behind me and focus on incorporating her into the family.

So far, Chase is extremely irritated that the baby sleeps all the time. I didn't expect my 6 year old to be flopping around yelling "Wake her up so I can see her eyes!" And, Ellis likes to look at her, but is most interested in just sitting next to Mommy and knowing that I am here.

It's good to be feeling more human and so good to be home!
