Pretend

This morning Ellis climbed into bed with me. She started at the bottom of the bed and crawled up saying
"Stick, Stick, Stick."

"Mommy, this is a tree. And we are tree frogs. Green ones."

"Do we have red toes?"

Holding up her hands and looking at them she says, "Yes. We do. And red lipstick"

I guess even tree frogs want to look pretty.
