The first grade had a movie night. About 50 first graders and their families showed up at the school gym to watch Monsters vs Aliens. And it wasn't nearly as crazy as I thought it would be--especially considering all the sugar that was flowing through their veins. The concessions were a fundraiser for Relay for Life, which is a good cause, and therefore justifies the multiple ring pop consumption--right?
There was also a raffle.
And we won. A fabulous basket of arts and crafts supplies! [Which are regularly spread all over the kitchen and living room and I am secretly hoping that we use them up very soon.]
Chase and Ellis constructed these two kits from the basket.
