Beverages

I have hit a new grocery shopping low. Or should I say high, as in OUTRAGEOUSLY high bill with only one thing to show for it... and that would be beverages.

Chase spent the entire morning complaining that she was thirsty and that we had NOTHING to drink in the house. [If Mark were home, he would have been echoing her refrain.] So off we went to Marc's. The plan was to get a few things to drink.

Then I figured we'd need to bring beverages to the party on Wednesday [Kam is cooking a Chinese feast for MY Birthday. YUM!] So into the cart went a case of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, two bottles of wine and some A&W. Then I needed more Bolthouse C-Boost [I think it is really helping my cold] but then Chase wanted some of the Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Then some pink lemonade. Then the Elmo juice boxes [Ellis's one request]. Then the flavored [but not sweetened] seltzer water - again, Chase thought we should try a variety of the flavors... citrus, wildberry, lemon-lime. Then off to the dairy aisle. Staples of orange juice and milk. And some cream for the yummy pasta sauce [but can still be identified as a liquid/beverage.]

What did this cart full of liquid cost me... Any guesses???

80 Dollars! 8-0 dollars!!!!!!

So I might be tempted to hurt someone if the say that they are thirsty and that there isn't anything TASTY to drink in the house.
