This is a picture of Chase at 2 1/2. She was experimenting with lipstick.
She still has quite a way with make-up. Eye shadow worn from eye to mid forehead. Lipstick on things other than lips. And bright colors are her favorite.
So this morning, as I stepped out of the shower, I heard words that struck fear in my heart. "Ellis, you forgot the eyeshadow. Here, let me help you."
In fact, she had not forgotten the eyeshadow. She had chosen a neutral light tan and used it on her leg. It did not photograph well. Just light sparkles. She may have a slightly different philosophy of make-up. But with Chase to show her the ropes, I am sure that it is only a matter of time before I have a more colorful make-up picture to share.
