Now that Santa Claus has been and gone, it looks like we will should be expecting another magical being soon. The Tooth Fairy. And she better bring her big purse, because we have 4 teeth on the brink.
Chase already had two loose teeth, the two bottom front, but we now have two VERY loose front top teeth, thanks to The Treadmill accident of New Years Eve. [And despite the dentist's thought that they might tighten back up, there is no sign that it is happening.]
For those of you who haven't heard the story, here is the short version: While grown-ups were eating dinner and kids were supposed to be watching "Horton Hears a Who" a friend's 4 year old son wanted to show off and plugged in and turned on their treadmill. He asked Chase to join him. She tripped, fell and smashed her nose, split her lip and took major trauma to her front teeth. Black and blue gums and wiggly teeth. Dr Laura [our AWESOME pediatric dentist] took an x-ray and said that we were lucky that the teeth did not get shoved up into the new teeth that are dropping down. She has seen kids fracture their new teeth before they even come in![Good news is that both new front teeth are in position, which they weren't in October... so if she loses these soon it won't be YEARS before she gets the new ones]
FYI: I have discovered that loose teeth give me the heebie-jeebies. Blood I can handle. Wiggly teeth, not so much.

Does it make you sad your little girl is losing teeth already? I can tell you that I will be sobbing like a baby!
