Our recent trip to the garden gave us more than we know what to do with!
Beans anyone?

I think I will prep and freeze these.
Salsa Verde?

I think I need a recipe. STAT. This is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how many tomatillo I have, and will have.
Some whimpy green things.

I rescued some totamtoes that had fallen off the vine. They will need to ripen on the counter. And the three small, strangely shaped items are my only cucumbers, to date. But I am excited about the Sugar Baby Watermelon [and the ones to follow!] We haven't cracked into it yet, but I am sure we will soon. Hoping it is sweet and tasty.
But, most perplexing, is what to do with all this crook neck squash! This picking, alone, yielded 15! And I have many more on the way.

I sent some to Texas with the Aunt. I have handed them out to anyone that will take them. I don't think they freeze well.
So.
If you find some on your front doorstep, please, don't hate me!

You could always use some of those squash as fall decorations. Don't know if they'll last until Halloween, but you could paint them and decorate as a jack-o-lanterns friend.
Yum beans!
Use a bunch of the squash to make muffins and bread, and then freeze THAT. You will be happy to have that yummy bread in the winter. I am making my "squash bread" today. :-)
make some fried green tomatoes!
