Chase really enjoyed herself. She was thrilled to have her friend Savannah, from Kindergarten, in her group. And she loves doing crafts and singing songs.

This was Ellis' first time at VBS. Although her Grandma gave glowing reports, the pictures that I got off the web tell me another story. How you ask? Ellis does love her thumb, but at home I only see it when she is REALLY tired, or if she is nervous or upset about something. The more I see it, I know there is a problem. Every picture of Ellis had her thumb in her mouth, her Grandma nearly attached to her body, or both. But that is okay, it was probably good for her to try something a little more adventurous [if she is with Chase she can take on the world... story time... take away big sister support and she gets nervous!]

My older sister and I are 11 months apart, and I have several strong memories in preschool of crying inconsolably for my sister until they let me join her in the kindergarten room.
