This week has been full of trying to cram it all in - sometimes good, and sometimes... not quite.
It was a week of:
Work. And Errands.
Watching my two youngest nephews so my sister could take the older two water skiing [Speaking of cramming, they were at peak levels, too. Being on the last leg of their visit. Which for future planning reference was too short!] As much fun as we had during the afternoon, a major damper was being attacked by yellow jackets.
Evening VBS. Which was fun, but also meant a week of late nights, and difficult bedtimes.
My 16 week check up and screening blood work [which was a separate trip to Hillcrest Hospital] Everything looks good. I have gained 3 pounds, so far [but for some reason I feel really blobby, which should be silly, because I gain and loose 3 lbs without thinking or noticing at any other time, but I am starting to get thick waisted and that makes a difference.] And the baby's heart rate was a steady 155. We are scheduled for our 20 week ultrasound Monday August 24. Hard to wait for that!
Saying good-bye to my sister and crew. A sad, sad thing. They will be sorely missed. The girls LOVED having their cousins to play with!
Seeing Mary Poppins.
Playdate with friends Lorie, Calem and Isaac. Much overdue!
Pre-Burning River 100 Race prep. My living room was taken over by drop bags and water bottles. Think of us today [Saturday] when Mark is running and we are crewing. A long, and tiring day for the Godale Gals!
Looks like Mark won't be the only one to need a recovery week next week!
