Danger

As long as I remain primarily a danger to myself, I can almost laugh at some of the things that I did NOT do this week.

I did not break up the ice on the front porch using an antique ice axe. And in the process I did not manage to stab myself in the leg. And I would never have been doing this wearing flip flops!

I did not climb up on my roof at dusk to deal with ice dams. And if I DID do such a stupid thing, I most certainly wouldn't repeat that action the next day, too. I would have to enjoy risking my neck to do such a foolish thing.

I did NOT forget to wear gloves while tackling the snow and ice on the roof. If I did that I would end up with fingers that were so cold that they would have been blue and red and even cool water would have made me scream in pain.

And I would not have had a large cup of fully caffeinated tea for the first time in ages. People live on this stuff right? And that one cup of tea certainly wouldn't have given me jitters for hours and kept me awake until 4am. I just don't think that is even possible.

No way. Not me.
