Around here, Valentine's has taken over the week. Creating Valentines. Wearing hearts. Cooking projects. Preparing for holiday parties. One for Kindergarten. One for Library Story Time.
Here was our first cooking project. Pink cupcakes. Chase and Ellis enjoyed licking frosting off the top. Mark declared that they were inedible. I didn't try one so I just don't know. I supervised and everything appeared normal to me.
There is a strawberry pie in the plans. A good way to use some of the Ellis berries. [See the prior post.]

It looks like Chase thinks they taste pretty good!
I make cherry cupcakes with a little maraschino cherry juice and some cut up cherries, along with putting almond extract instead of vanilla. They usually turn out great. If it's any consolation, the cupcakes look good...
